Welcome to the
Moierhof

We are the Frank family and we farm the Moierhof in Offling, a small hamlet near Altenmarkt an der Alz in the Bavarian Chiemgau, about 80 minutes' drive from Munich. On our working farm – with cattle, chickens, horses and forestry – we have set up a handful of pitches for motorhomes and caravans plus two tent pitches – all bookable directly online.

Here you don't spend the night on an anonymous campsite, but on a real farm: with animals, with fresh farm produce and to the rhythm of country life.

Everything you
really need

No wellness centre, no entertainment programme – instead fresh air, clean infrastructure and the calm of a farm. The bathing spot on the Alz is within walking distance, and the Chiemgau with all its beauty is waiting for you.

Our own private bathing meadow on the wild and romantic Alz is just a few minutes' walk away. The lawn in the woods offers true relaxation - with only the flow of the water for company.

Farm life

We are a working farm – with cattle, chickens, horses and forestry. Anyone who is curious is warmly invited to watch, get to know the animals, help in the vegetable garden – just ask.

Regional produce

A few fine specialities straight from the farm - how about some freshly laid eggs for breakfast?

The Moierhof lies in Offling, a quiet hamlet near Altenmarkt an der Alz – away from mass tourism, yet quickly reached via the B 304, close to everything that truly defines Bavaria: a crystal-clear, unspoilt river, the Alpine panorama, lakes and a lively Bavarian culture.
Ideal for a short break out of Munich, as a stopover heading south, or as a base for exploring the Chiemgau, the Rupertiwinkel, Salzburg and the Berchtesgaden Alps.

Frequently asked
questions

Arrival is generally possible from 2:00 pm. Please let us know your arrival time in advance by email at camping@moierhof-offling.de, so that we are at home and can welcome you in person. As we are a very small campsite – really far more a farm than a campsite 😉 – we are not always right on site, but sometimes out in the field or in the stable, and we have no reception desk. Check-out is possible until 11:00 am.

Motorhomes, caravans and tent pitches are all booked directly online via our booking portal DIREST – reachable from our booking page. There you choose your dates, see real-time availability and receive a confirmation by email once you are done. Booking directly by email is unfortunately not possible.

A clean shower and WC are available. The facilities are housed in a permanent building on the farm grounds and are accessible around the clock.

We love animals - but after many bad experiences we can unfortunately no longer allow dogs on our farm. We ask for your understanding – also on behalf of our cats.

Yes – like all our other pitches, our two tent pitches are bookable directly online via DIREST, see our booking page. The price is €22.50 per tent and night (without electrical hook-up), plus €5 per adult and €3 per child up to 18 years. Please note: cars are not parked at the tent pitch itself, but in the designated car park.

Motorhomes, caravans and tents are welcome. The maximum vehicle length is 8 m. For larger vehicles, please enquire in advance.
